History

Originally Ploom’s Pottery, The Old Potter’s Inn is one of the more recent additions to the establishments that already offer excellent accommodation in Greyton, a wonderfully quaint and scenic village, known as the “Jewel of the Overberg” situated in the Overberg region of the Western Cape in South Africa. Once the home of the May’s, part of our Inn is about 150 years old, making this the oldest building in Greyton. In fact, it is one of only 2 National Monuments in the town!

If you are feeling the need to get away from the city to the fresh country air and beautiful scenery but don’t really feel like roughing it, The Old Potter’s Inn will provide all of the city accommodation comforts and the pampering you deserve.

The Old Potter’s Inn provides comfortable and affordable Greyton accommodation and self catering cottages designed to fulfill all your Greyton accommodation needs, whether it be for bed & breakfast or self catering accommodation. Set in a spectacular setting with some of the best attractions that Greyton has to offer, right at your doorstep. The atmosphere at The Old Potter’s Inn is one of relaxed comfort together with a sense of Greyton country lifestyle.

Our guests are always warmly welcomed and our friendly staff are always on hand to make the guests feel exceptionally comfortable and relaxed at all times.
