Adèle Claudia Fouché is an artist with a passion to paint the light, more than form or colour,
“I feel that light is what gives meaning to life.”
This fine (and fun) artist offers workshops and retreats in painting.
Adèle was born in South Africa and studied B A Drama (Hons) cum laude. Whilst raising four boys she studied various forms of art including ceramics under Lorette Espi and sculpture with Cape Town artist David May but found her true passion when she was taught oil painting byl artists, Hannes Van Zyl and Cornelia Smook. Since then she has exhibited at the De Kraal Gallery and the Mill Street Gallery, Paarl.
Adèle currently exhibits at the Lindy Van Niekerk Gallery, Cape Town; the Stellenbosch Art Gallery as well as the Walker Bay Gallery of Hermanus, She runs workshops in and around Greyton and has a successful studio/gallery in Greyton too.
